The Bad Beginning is about how three kids parents die. So they have to go and live with their evil relative. Count Olaf, their evil relative, tries to create this evil plan to try and take the children’s fortune. These children were Violet, Sunny, and Klaus. His evil plan was to have a play called the Marvelous Marriage but instead of it being a play he tried to trick Violet in to marrying him but Violet stopped him. The Authors Purpose was to entertain.
