Albert Pujols

The book Albert Pujols (by Jeff Savage) is about the life of Albert Pujols. The book starts out with Albert at bat with two outs and two men on base. He swings very hard but pops it up into the outfield for an easy catch. After that Albert walked straight to the locker room and watched film to see what he can do to get better Albert was born in a very poor town in Dominican Republic. He used fruit as baseballs, sticks as bats, and even cardboard milk boxes as a glove. When Albert continued to work very hard at baseball and got a scholarship to a small college. The Cardinals manager Tony LaRusa saw hope in the young man, and drafted Pujols. This story shows that no matter where you come from you still have a chance to be great. The genre of this story is an biography.
