n Ranger Apprentice a boy named will is a orphan and he lives with may orpans like Horace, Alyss, George, and Jenny. They all go to a stadium where they pick what they would like to be. Will has always wanted to be a knight because he thought his father was. To bad will was to scrawny so he couldn’t be one. But halt so that he would be well fited to be a ranger so he takes him under his wing. In the end he kills one monster that had been important in the kingdoms survival. This all takes place in middle east. The reason the author wrote this was because he wanted to entertain others.
