In Tall Cool One, Anna Percy goes to Mexico on a buisness trip for her dad at a very nice resort. In the middle of the story, Sam Sharpe, her good friend surprises her. They go shopping and they get lost in the desert. In the desert it starts to storm. At the end, they find a deserted house, they break in and fall asleep. The home owners come home, about to take them hostage, then Sam's dad comes out of nowhere on his private jet and rescues them. To know about Anna's character development, she moved to California from New York, to find adventures. She's smart and very rich. The author's purpose is to entertain. I think, the theme of Tall Cool One, isn't to wander off and get lost and to never break into someones house or property. The genre is action, romance, and also it is drama.
