Broken Soup By Gracen Wheat and Kelsie Burchard

Broken Soup is about a girl named Rowan who's family is corrupted by an upsetting tragedy.



The moral of the story is when every things lost, a little hope can help you find your way.



The characters are Rowan, a strong, independent girl who's life is falling apart. Harper, an 18 year old lad, who travels the world in an run-down ambulance. Mum, Rowan's mother, who is not mentally stable, suicidal, and anti-social. Stroma, a 6 year old, clever little girl. Bee, a rather beautiful girl, who fell in love with Jack, (Rowan's deceased brother). And last is Jack, a cool 16 year old, who drowned in a man-made lake.



The setting is London, England.


The plot is first, Jack drowns. Second, Rowan befriends Bee and meets Harper. Third, Rowan's Mum attempts suicide and Rowan's family finds out Bee's secret.


The authors purpose is to inform readers about love and hardships that a 15 year old girl encounters.
The genre is Love/Hardships.
