The treasure of Lemon Brown is a short story written by Walter Dean Myers. The main characters are lemon brown which he is a poor man that doesent have much. He lives alone becuase his mife and son had died. He once sang the blues until he was doing so good that he couldnt sing about how bad things were going. Greg Ridley is a boy who wants to play basketball, he lives in the ghetto, and does not pay attention in class. He steps into Lemons building to get out of the rain.
The story takes place in a tenement crun down old apartement the Plot: After arguing with hes father, Greg runs off and meets up with Lemon Brown. Brown told greg about his life and how his son died in the war and his treasures.
The theme of the story is everyone has a treasure of their own.
