Charater's of The Bad Beginning are Violet, Sunny, Klaus, Count Oalf, and Mr.Poe. The beginning Violet, Klaus, and Sunny are on a beach and Mr.Poe came walking with bad news, that there Parents have died. Count Oalf has made there life miserable by having them work that should have been done long age. Count Oalf and his srevants escaped and Voilet, Klaus, Sunny had to move in a new home. The theme is to solve and prevent Count Oalfs scheme. The author's purpose is that there are some people that are gritty to get money. The first week at Count Oalfs manoirs. Voilet is very intelligent with inventions and the oldest. Klaus is a "book worm" that readed all the books in the library. Sunny has four sharp teeth. Count Oalf is a actor and a evil man. Mr.Poe is a banker that has a seiric cough. It is mystery/action.
